Ways to Volunteer
The Valatie Volunteer Rescue Squad welcomes all types of community support. Whether your interest lies in hands-on medical services, transport, or you just wish to help with fundraising and outreach activities, there is a place for you in the Squad.
Volunteers may become active volunteers or associate members. Active members participate in all operational aspects of emergency service delivery. Associate members support the Squad in other ways, including vehicle and building maintenance, fund raising, and community outreach.
Active members commit to 24 hours per month of active, on-site duty. Associate members may commit as much time as they wish.
