Welcome to Valatie Volunteer Rescue Squad

Rescue Squad provides critical emergency care services to Kinderhook and Stuyvesant towns and parts of Chatham, Ghent and Stockport. Our Paramedics, EMTs and volunteers undergo extensive training in basic and advanced lifesaving medicine. Backed by a modern fleet of well-equipped vehicles, we provide round the clock coverage 365 days per year.

Founded in 1935, the Squad is community-supported. In turn, we provide medical care, sponsor an Explorer Post, and offer classes in first aid and CPR to the local community.
